Common questions about doing an AI course in India.
Direct answers, no sales pitch — written for students, professionals and business owners deciding where to start.
What is an AI course?
An AI course is a structured program that teaches you how artificial intelligence works and how to use it for real tasks. Courses range from awareness-level introductions to applied programs that teach generative AI tools, workflow automation and AI-powered systems. A practical AI course focuses less on theory and more on what you can produce with AI: research, content, design, websites, reports, marketing systems, SOPs and automated workflows. Most modern AI courses in India are delivered online, and the most useful ones are live and mentor-led so learners can apply AI to their own work while being guided.
Read the answer →Which AI course is best in India?
There is no single best AI course in India; the right course depends on what you want to be able to do afterwards. Judge any AI course on six things: whether it is live or recorded, whether a real mentor reviews your work, whether it teaches current tools rather than theory alone, whether you build something with your own data or job tasks, how large the cohort is, and whether the outcome is described as capability rather than a certificate. Courses that are live, mentor-led, project-based and small enough for feedback produce far better application rates than recorded video libraries, and because they run online they are equally accessible from any city in India.
Read the answer →How do I start learning AI as a complete beginner?
As a complete beginner you should start with applied generative AI, not machine learning theory. Learn what AI and generative AI are, get fluent with two or three AI assistants, learn to structure prompts so output is reliable, then immediately apply it to work you already do — writing, research, planning, reporting or design. Coding and mathematics are not required for this path. Once you can produce real output with AI, the natural next step is automation: connecting your data, AI and everyday tools into workflows that run repeatedly.
Read the answer →Can I do an AI course after 12th or during college?
Yes — you can start an applied AI course after 12th or while you are in college, and it does not require an engineering stream. Applied generative AI is a skill layer that sits on top of whatever you are studying: it makes research, assignments, presentations, design work and projects faster and better. Because live AI courses in India run online in the evening, students in any city can attend alongside classes. The practical order is generative AI fluency first, then automation and AI-powered systems once you are comfortable producing real output.
Read the answer →How much does an AI course cost in India?
AI course fees in India vary enormously because the formats are not comparable. Recorded video courses are often free or a few thousand rupees, applied live mentor-led programs typically run from the tens of thousands, and university or institute AI qualifications can run into lakhs. What you are really paying for is contact time with a mentor, cohort size, whether you build with your own data, and how long the program runs. School of AI's GenAI Foundation Program is currently ₹16,900 + 18% GST (regular fee ₹19,999), and the AI & Automation Program is currently ₹29,999 + 18% GST (regular fee ₹49,999).
Read the answer →Where can I do an AI course online in India?
You can do an AI course online from anywhere in India — Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, Pune, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Indore, Lucknow, Kota or any smaller town — because the strongest applied AI programs now run entirely online. The thing to check is not location but format: live sessions with a mentor beat recorded video libraries for actual application. School of AI runs live, mentor-led online AI programs open to learners across India and more than 10 countries, mentored by Chandan Maheshwari from Kota, Rajasthan.
